Microsoft unveils AI security model and agents

Microsoft announced MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, a security-specialized AI model, and Project Perception, an agentic security system. The model, combined with GPT-5.4 inside the MDASH harness, achieved a 95.95 percent success rate on a vulnerability benchmark at roughly half the cost of competing systems.
