Norwegian startup builds faster emergency tourniquet

Norwegian startup Aristeia is developing a next-generation emergency tourniquet designed to stop life-threatening bleeding faster and with less pain. The device is placed around the limb and reaches sufficient pressure within a couple of pulls. The concept originated from a university sketch on a napkin and follows a decade of R&D.
