Apple Gives US Staff Full Thanksgiving Week Off

New Apple CEO John Ternus told staff most US teams get the Monday through Wednesday before Thanksgiving off, extending the Thursday and Friday holiday. Retail, AppleCare and international teams receive three extra days later. The tradition began under Tim Cook in 2011 and survived internal pressure to keep stores open on Thanksgiving.
