Universal Memory Protocol, a shared format for agent memory

Universal Memory Protocol standardizes agent memory storage and retrieval across sessions and vendors. Agents use UMP to share procedural and contextual memories via a single portable format stored in JSON files. The UMP SDK supports TypeScript and HTTP clients for Python Go Swift and browser apps. UMP allows memory to be extended across agents and stores without reimplementation.
