Remote autonomous reactor power control achieved

Researchers from Idaho National Laboratory, the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Purdue University remotely and automatically adjusted a research reactor's power in real time using a geographically distributed control system. The reactor's safety systems retained full control throughout the test.
