CISA warned that ransomware gangs are now exploiting a critical VMware vCenter vulnerability (CVE-2026-59310) patched in July. The directory traversal flaw allows unauthenticated remote code execution. CISA has added it to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog and ordered federal agencies to patch within three days. Over 450 vulnerable servers remain exposed online.
