Apple Weighs Nvidia-Backed AI Server

Apple is reportedly considering an enterprise AI server with two or four future M8 Ultra chips, possibly using Nvidia's NVLink Fusion for chip interconnects, targeting a 2029 launch. The project is unapproved and could be canceled. It would mark Apple's first purpose-built server since the Xserve was discontinued in 2011.
