A Lighthouse Reports investigation finds most European data centers still hide their energy and water consumption despite EU transparency rules. In the Netherlands, only 44 of 186 large data centers publicly reported electricity use and 47 reported water use. The EU publishes efficiency labels instead of raw data, and Lighthouse has filed a complaint under the Aarhus Convention.
