Taiga Launches OS-5 With Geofencing

Taiga, the Montreal maker of electric off-road vehicles and watercraft, launched OS-5, a vehicle operating system update adding built-in mapping and geofencing. The company calls the geofencing an industry first, aimed at improving rider safety and controlling how vehicles access waterways. The update reaches Taiga's existing electric fleet, though no rollout date or pricing was disclosed.
