Valve Removes Steam Machine 4K 60 FPS Promise

Valve deleted the "4K gaming at 60 FPS" claim from the Steam Machine hardware page after early reviewers struggled to hit that performance. The Steam Hardware Updates account spotted the change on June 25. An archived version showed the promise existed as recently as June 24.
