Softbank head disputes Musk's orbital data centre claims

Softbank founder Masayoshi Son told shareholders that energy makes up only about 7 percent of data centre costs, with equipment and maintenance as the majority. Son argued that orbital data centres add latency disadvantages and that Softbank will build Earth-based capacity instead of focusing on space.
