Zayo appointed Mariana Agathoklis Schlock as its first-ever Executive Vice President, Chief Communications & Marketing Officer on October 8, 2026. She reports to CEO Sowmyanarayan Sampath and leads communications, marketing, and ESG functions. Schlock joins from Verizon after nearly nine years, having previously led communications for the $100 billion annual revenue Verizon Consumer business unit.
