China retaliates with curbs on 56 US firms

China imposed trade curbs on 56 US companies, including rare-earth miners MP Materials and USA Rare Earth, in direct retaliation for the Pentagon adding Chinese firms to its military blacklist. The measures block dual-use exports to 10 firms and bar government purchases from 46 others, targeting drone makers and defense contractors.
