Lexus Killed Its Next EV Sedan, Then Approved Its Replacement The Same Day

Lexus canceled development of the LF-ZC electric sedan last month, a project that never made it past the concept stage. Toyota vice president Hiroki Nakajima confirmed the cancellation and said Lexus approved a successor vehicle on the same day, repurposing technologies like Gigacast and a new ADAS platform.
