4 min read
Amazon launched next-generation Kindle, Paperwhite, and Colorsoft e-readers today, now a millimeter thinner and 30 percent faster at opening books. They come in new colors, optional aluminum cases with 32GB storage, and user-replaceable batteries for EU compliance. The base Kindle starts at $149.99. A $79.99 magnetic case adds physical page-turn buttons, and a $34.99 Bluetooth remote, Kindle Click, also debuts.
