Midjourney Scanner: Full-body ultrasound CT unveiled

Midjourney announced the Midjourney Scanner, a full-body ultrasonic CT system. David Holz called it the first new whole-body medical imaging modality in 50 years. The Gen 1 prototype uses ultrasound instead of radiation or MRI, with claimed resolution down to 0.5 mm. Current scans take about 20 minutes.
