Tesla Launches Semi Production After Decade

Tesla launched high-volume production of its long-awaited Semi at its Sparks, Nevada factory on Thursday, nearly a decade after the 2017 concept debut. The long-range version travels an estimated 500 miles per charge. A coalition including Microsoft and PepsiCo ordered 2,500 Semis, which would nearly double the number of heavy-duty electric trucks on US roads.
