Montréal-based Quantum eMotion agreed to acquire Victoria-based Plurilock for nearly $34 million CAD, split 30 percent cash and 70 percent QeM shares. The deal, announced Monday, aims to broaden QeM's cybersecurity offerings beyond quantum security. Plurilock shareholders vote in November, with closing expected shortly after. QeM CEO Francis Bellido will lead the combined company.
