Aurora Driver 2 Targets Million-Mile Lifespan

Aurora unveiled Aurora Driver 2, its second-generation autonomous truck hardware. The sensor suite is designed to last one million miles and cuts hardware costs in half. A forward-facing Lidar detects objects half a mile away. The system uses an Nvidia-powered computer that is 40% smaller than the previous model.
