Students Win Intel Cup With AI Cybersecurity System

IITGN students Miloni Thakkar and Mitwa Goswami won second prize at the Intel Cup 2026 for TrustGate, an AI system detecting attacks on industrial control systems. The team used the SWaT dataset and Intel's DK-2500 hardware to build the solution, which analyzes both network traffic and physical sensor data to identify specific compromised components in real time.
