Pentagon Taps Musk, Luckey, Gingrich for War Study

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth commissioned Project Meridian on Wednesday, naming Elon Musk, Palmer Luckey and Newt Gingrich as co-directors. The Pentagon study must identify technologies for future wars, from AI and autonomy to directed energy, robotics and biotechnology, with findings due by 28 January 2027. A public report and classified annex will follow.
