Google reported on October 6 that attackers compromised three country-code top-level domains,.gh,.sl, and.as, to obtain unauthorized HTTPS certificates for Google domains. The incident exposed at least 12 certificates issued between September 22 and 27 for names like google.com.gh and google.sl.
