Verizon outage hits Southern California after fiber cables cut

Vandals cut multiple Verizon fiber cables in Southern California, disrupting mobile and internet services. Verizon says repairs are underway and services should return to normal within a couple of hours. The carrier hasn't disclosed the cut locations or the number of affected customers.
