Govt Suspends Internet in New Delhi

The Ministry of Home Affairs approved a 24-hour mobile internet suspension in New Delhi from 10 PM on October 9 to 10 PM on October 10. The shutdown covers a 4-km radius around Janpath-Kartavya Path due to protests against election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation also shuts 57 stations from 9 PM.
