AI builds custom software in one hour

Researchers at Nanyang Technological University developed LACE, an AI framework that builds custom decision-making software in about an hour instead of months. Tested on four maritime problems, LACE achieved 97% to 99% of the best result for under US$10 per problem, outperforming existing systems like Google's FunSearch which failed completely.
