Mironid raises €39.9M for kidney disease drug

Glasgow-based Mironid closed a €39.9 million ($46 million) Series B round to advance its lead drug candidate for Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). Scottish National Investment Bank led the round, joined by Roche Venture Fund, Epidarex Capital, Sofinnova Partners, BioGeneration Ventures, and the University of Strathclyde.
