Meta Launches Lightweight VR Glasses

Meta announced Meta VR Glasses at Connect on Wednesday, featuring a magnesium alloy frame five times lighter than Quest 3, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite processor and a pocketable computing puck. The glasses offer 5K Infinite Display, Dolby Vision and Atmos, IMAX Enhanced certification, and Disney+ 3D streaming starting in November. Availability is set for next spring at $1,299.99.
