VK sues Apple over app removal, seeks daily fines

Russian tech firm VK filed a lawsuit against Apple in a Moscow arbitration court, demanding restoration of removed apps including VKontakte and VK Messenger. VK seeks 58 million rubles ($696,000) per day in compensation. Apple removed the apps following European Union sanctions.
