The US government partially reversed its ban on Anthropic's Mythos 5, allowing the company to release the cybersecurity AI model to over 100 select US organizations, including government agencies. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick determined Anthropic had appropriate safeguards in place. The broader rollout and Claude Fable 5 remain restricted.
