The National Cyber Security Centre states AI-powered malware is highly likely to hack UK critical infrastructure by 2028. The warning covers energy, transport, defence, food, health and finance sectors. NCSC chief Richard Horne will warn the public on Tuesday about an unprecedented rise in cyber incidents. Russia and China are expected to use AI routinely in attacks.
