A native Windows x64 port of Microsoft Word for Windows 1.1a, codenamed Opus, builds the original source with modern replacements for 16-bit assembly and Win16 boundaries. The result runs as a 64-bit executable, not an emulator. Build requires Visual Studio 2022, CMake 3.25, and Windows 10/11 SDK.
