Ampera builds thorium supply chain from Australian mine

Florida startup Ampera formed an Australian subsidiary to secure thorium for its advanced nuclear fuel program. The company plans to vertically integrate from mining to TRISO kernel production at a Florida facility. Thorium is more abundant than uranium and produces less waste, but no commercial thorium fuel supply chain exists yet.
