SpaceX will build natural gas power plants with large battery arrays for its Terafab semiconductor factory in Grimes County, Texas, skipping Tesla solar panels. The fab, costing $16.8 billion initially, will make chips for SpaceX and xAI data centers, with $2.8 billion planned for gas turbines.
