NJ DMV glitch registered 6,600 noncitizens to vote

A software error at the New Jersey DMV improperly registered roughly 6,600 noncitizens to vote between June 2023 and June 2024. Governor Mikie Sherrill announced that 400 of those individuals cast ballots. The glitch occurred at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
