Bird&Be Raises $13M Series A

Toronto-based Bird&Be, which sells fertility supplements and test kits, raised a $13-million USD Series A co-led by BDC's Thrive Fund and BFG Partners. The round closed in August. The profitable company reports nearly 100-percent year-over-year growth and an eight-figure brand, with about 75 percent of direct-to-consumer revenue from subscriptions.
