Judge backs Upper Sioux solar, preserves cooperative service

A Minnesota administrative law judge recommended that Minnesota Valley Cooperative Light & Power Association continue supplying electricity to the Upper Sioux Community. The tribe is building a solar-and-battery installation to lower energy costs at Prairie's Edge Casino Resort. The judge's findings were issued June 8.
