Anthropic Releases Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5

Anthropic released Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5 on June 9, 2026. Both are Mythos-class models, a tier above Opus. Fable 5 is made safe for general use. Mythos 5 has some safeguards lifted and remains in limited release.
