Winamp Relaunches as Streaming Service With Deezer

Winamp will relaunch as a subscription streaming service in the first half of next year through a partnership with Paris-based Deezer, using Deezer's white-label technology and catalog under the Winamp name. The service will add internet radio, podcasts and cloud collections alongside local libraries. Pricing was not disclosed, and the existing Winamp player stays available separately.
