South Korea's Financial Services Commission introduced a three-phase roadmap for tokenized securities, covering stocks, bonds, and funds. Tokenized securities gain legal recognition starting February 4, 2027, under the amended Electronic Securities Act. Phase three targets onchain stablecoin payments. The FSC will work with the Korea Securities Depository on infrastructure.
