RBI Sets SGB Premature Redemption Dates

The Reserve Bank of India published premature redemption dates for Sovereign Gold Bonds from October 2026 to March 2027, covering 32 tranches issued between June 2019 and March 2022. Redemption is allowed five years after issuance, with the price based on the average closing gold price over the prior three business days. No fresh SGBs are being issued.
