Toronto launched a one-year pilot using Clariti's CivCheck AI to pre-check building permit applications for issues before submission. The city reviews over 36,000 applications yearly, and incomplete filings cause delays. CivCheck currently covers residential buildings with two units or fewer, and use is voluntary.
