Meta withdrew its Muse Image AI feature from Instagram three days after launch following backlash from SAG-AFTRA and talent agency CAA. The tool, the first from Meta Superintelligence Labs, let users generate AI images from public Instagram accounts with no opt-in required. Meta said the feature "missed the mark" on privacy.
