Bluecore lands $50M for floating nuclear plants

Bluecore Energy raised $50 million in seed funding, led by Silverton Partners, to develop floating nuclear power plants. The California startup targets ports, AI datacenters, and coastal infrastructure with a 10 MWe light-water reactor design. It secured its first barge and is testing a prototype at Port of Long Beach.
