India Targets AI Application Capital Status

Union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated India aims to become the global AI application capital by leveraging models across enterprises and transforming sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and education. The government will begin accepting applications for pillars two, three, and four of the semiconductor programme starting today, with 50% of approved units belonging to SMEs or MSMEs.
