US Strategic Reserve Hits 44-Year Low

The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve fell to 285.4 million barrels as of Sep 4, its lowest level since 1982. The reserve has dropped 130.1 million barrels from its pre-war level of 415.4 million. Diesel prices hit a new record of $6.27 per gallon on Sep 15, up 68% since the war began, while global oil production fell to 100.1 million barrels per day in August.
