London-based Wassist raised a $1.1 million pre-seed round led by Playfair to accelerate its no-code platform for deploying AI-powered WhatsApp agents. The startup lets brands maintain customer relationships inside WhatsApp instead of losing conversations to AI platforms like ChatGPT. Meta board member Charlie Songhurst and Indeed founder Paul Forster participated.
