Anthropic released Claude Fable 5, its first Mythos-class model, with safeguards blocking queries on cybersecurity, biology, and chemistry. The model funnels sensitive topics to Claude Opus 4.8 and warns users. False positives occur in under 5% of sessions. Red-team testing found no universal jailbreaks.
