Apple and Meta announced a partnership on Thursday to run Meta's Muse Spark Open model on Mac Studio desktops using M5 Ultra chips. The 816bn parameter model requires two machines with at least 512GB of memory, costing $10,799. This collaboration ends a rivalry dating back to 2017 after privacy changes cut Meta's 2022 revenue by $10bn.
