BYD aims to overtake Toyota by 2030

BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu set a 2030 goal to surpass Toyota as the world's largest automaker. The target requires more than doubling sales in four years, relying on breakthrough battery technology and rapid overseas expansion. Wang presented the goal at BYD's June 9 annual meeting in Shenzhen.
