T-Mobile and India's Jio have completed the world's first 5G standalone roaming connection, letting customers move between the two carriers' networks without dropping to older standards. T-Mobile was an early standalone 5G adopter. The link could also support enterprise and AI applications. Commercial availability and timing were not disclosed.
